Jorge Bolívar
Co-Founder and CEO of ETS Asset Management Factory. He holds a Mining Engineer degree from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He has developed his professional career in finance and technology. In 1987, he established together with his siblings the first venture in Spain that provided quantitative financial advice by digitally processing market information: ETS Asset Management Factory. ETS provides AI-Based quantitative investment advice to wealth management solutions and financial education. He also founded Techrules in 1999.
Since 2003, Jorge has chaired the family foundation and its social enterprise SAVINCO Social Finance, with the goal of promoting social inclusion through financial education and technology.
Javier Sánchez
Javier leads the pioneering company in unique quantitative solutions, applying Artificial Intelligence to the financial market for the development of advanced investment strategies since the nineties.
With a degree in Mathematics from the University of Salamanca and a Master's Degree in Options and Futures from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB), Javier has achieved a solid integration between theory and practice in finance.
In addition, Javier stands out for his commitment to responsible investment and social impact, actively collaborating as an academic and professor at the Pontifical University of Salamanca, where he promotes the development of Sustainable Finance.
Gabriel Álvarez de Toledo
Gabriel has recently joined ETS Factory as the Business Development Manager. Over the past five years, he served as the CEO of Singular Asset Management SGIIC and Belgravia Capital Asset Management SGIIC. Previously, he worked for thirty years at Banco Santander in various roles within the Markets area, at BOA Merrill Lynch in Institutional Equity Sales, and at FG Inversiones Bursátiles SV. He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from CUNEF and has a PDG at the IESE Business School.
Rubén Briones
Rubén holds a degree in Computer Science from Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, but his true passion has always been financial markets. His career at ETS AM Factory started in the Equities team, and he has risen to lead the IT department. He is currently working with his team on adapting the state-of-the-art AI technologies to the financial industry, empowering quantitative investment decision making. Rubén's unique blend of technical and financial knowledge positions him as a pivotal figure in the company, driving forward both technological innovation and investment success.
Tania Fuertes
Tania holds a Mathematics Degree from Universidad del País Vasco and a Masters degree in Quantitative Finance. She has been working in ETS Asset Management Factory for more than 10 years involved in different investment areas of the company. This made her have a deep knowledge of a variety of instruments such as currencies, stocks, funds or ETFs. In the latest years, she has been focused on funds and ETFs, and she currently leads a team focused on global tactical strategies, who works in advising and monitoring portfolios as well as improving current strategies and developing new solutions, as a multidisciplinary team.
Jesús González
Jesús holds a Master's degree in Automatics Systems and Industrial Electronics Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He has been working in ETS AM Factory for almost 20 years in a variety of areas. His baggage includes subjects such as currency hedging, GTAAs on funds/ETFs, quantamental equity strategies or long/short market neutral products. In the latest years, he has been focused on equity products based on both quantitative and fundamental data. He currently leads a team focused on the development of equity products, which manages the whole investment process, from creation or improvement of equity strategies to the advising, monitoring and evaluation of portfolios.
Sarah Townsend
Sarah leads the FX Overlay and Analytics teams. She has over 10 years experience working in currency related products, from pure methodological research to product definition and client implementation. During her 14 years at ETS, she has also been involved in the management and design of solutions for extensive databases. Before coming to Spain she graduated with First Class Honours in Mathematics from Sheffield University, UK, which included an additional Erasmus year of Statistics and Business at Madrid's Universidad Carlos III. She also holds Paul Wilmott's Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF).
Javier Cárdenas
Javier holds an Economics Degree and a Statistics degree from University Carlos III of Madrid. He has been working for the last 6 years in the finance sector, being the last 4+ years in ETS Asset Management Factory. He has worked on different investment areas of the company including currencies, stocks and IA. He has specialized in currency overlays, where he currently leads the methodology team, who works on creating tailored quantitative investment strategies for active currency overlay portfolios.
